The ALERT J4X portable breath alcohol tester builds upon the reputation and reliability of its predecessors. Thirty years of field experience demonstrates its refined ease of operation and the objective, unbiased results that it provides.
Ease of operation
With one button to initiate operation and an iconic display to guide its sequence, the ALERT J4X indicates when it is ready to take the test. The subject simply exhales into the mouthpiece and the instrument automatically determines the breath alcohol concentration. If a proper sample is not provided, an icon indicates that a retest is necessary.
Technology
The ALERT J4X used an electrochemical sensor that is specific for alcohol-the standard for portable evidential breath testers used by law enforcement. This sensor provides quick response and rapid recycle between tests. The long term stability of the sensor is assured by routine calibration with a breath alcohol simulator.
Display
The breath alcohol test results are presented on the LCD in a three digit measurement format that is selectable for each jurisdiction. A LED in the mouth piece port is color coded to provide a visual indication of the range. The ALERT J4X also provides a last test recall feature for certainty.
Fit for purpose
The ALERT J4X is powered by two AA alkaline batteries for normal operation. An accessory DC adapter provided auxiliary power to the sensor heater for operation at lower temperature ranges.
Ready to use
The ALERT J4X comes with instruction manual, carry case, DC adapter and a supply of mouthpieces.
Limited warranty
ALERT J4X professional alcohol testers are warranted to be free from defects in workmanship and material for one year from the date of shipment. Alcohol Countermeasure Systems agrees to replace or repair any unit or part that in its judgment is found to be defective, providing that the defect has not been caused by misuse or mishandling. Units in warranty must be properly packaged and shipped prepaid factory authorized service facility.

Τα αποτελέσματα εμφανίζονται με τριψήφιο νούμερο στην οθόνη καθώς επίσης χρωματική ένδειξη με λυχνία LED.
