OVERVIEW
INTERSPIRO REVITOX is an extra mask for quick connection to a Interspiro SCBA. Immediate assistance and fresh air can then be given to a casualty in a toxic atmosphere. In addition REVITOX has an unique feature - artificial respiration can be given, at once, without first removing the casualty from the scene.
ARTIFICIAL RESPIRATION. The artificial respiration can be continued while the casualty is carried out from the hazardous area even if, for instance, he is carried on a fireman's shoulders. When the casualty starts to breathe again, REVITOX works as an ordinary SPIROMATIC mask with breathing valve.
AUTOMATIC POSITIVE PRESSURE. REVITOX has automatic positive pressure, which eliminates inward leakage. This is important, as there may be no time to fit the mask properly.
SAFE FOR THE LUNGS. REVITOX is designed to limit the overpressure in the lungs to 200 mm water column. This eliminates the risk of damage to the lungs, and the casualty can even breathe easily against the flow.
USED AS EXTRA MASK. REVITOX can be used as an ordinary extra mask, for instance when helping people through gas or smoke filled areas.
